The book about the story of Rold’s first 60 years

“Frequentare il Futuro” is a book written by the journalist Giampiero Rossi, with a preface by Corrado la Forgia, that recounts the history of Rold, founded in 1963 by Rocchitelli Onofrio and Loro Dolores and whose initials form the name “Rold”.

The book was presented last June 18th in a dedicated event in the Social Innovation Academy Mind Milano, together with collaborators, partners and friends of the family and of  the company, all accompanied by a jazz musical background. A professional narrating voice recalled the path of a craftsman who has built a family and a factory, an Italian company that for over sixty years has embodied passion, innovation and resilience.

At the same time other meetings were organized with Laura Rocchitelli and the author Giampiero Rossi in the various company plants together with all the collaborators. They  explained to everyone about the genesis of the book and what intentions moved them in writing it: a copy of the book was then made available to each person.

The history of the company, narrated with care and detail, turns out not only to be the history of the evolution of the company, but becomes the reflection of an entire industrial and social fabric that has been able to adapt, grow and anticipate the future. Rold, today, produces innovative and technological components for household appliances of all brands, all over the world.
