The Rold Team Leader Project has been presented to a delegation of Assolombarda manager: how to encourage people’s involvement according to the principles of lean culture.
The involvement of people is a cornerstone of the lean culture, which aims to develop an environment oriented towards continuous improvement, and Rold, among other ways, has focused on the creation of Team Leaders.
The introduction of these new figures allows for more detailed operational and organizational management for the production cells and their teams. By living their daily lives in the “Gemba”, Team Leaders can more easily seize opportunities for improvement and make them mature through discussion with their group and with managers, always facing new challenges in which to put something of themselves.
Thus the company can grow, making the people who are part of it grow little by little, through communication, team work, support among colleagues, commitment to certain tasks and the generation of ideas through, precisely, a figure suitable for managing a team and dealing with managers.
It is certainly a non-trivial, slow and gradual path, from which however the first results are already being gathered.
