Rold participates at MIND Innovation Week 2023

05 . 05 . 2023

We are a tribe and we call ourselves (and they call us) Minders! We are the people of the MIND Milano Innovation District, the ex-Expo 2015 area, which today, between Cascina Triulza and the Tree of Life, hosts around 1,500 people. The activities, aimed at characterizing the innovation district, are concentrated here, where Rold is supported by Esselunga and AstraZeneca, Illumina, Bio4Dreams, Human Technopole – Research institute for life sciences, Valore Italia with the school of restoration and finally the Its. And the University of Milan which will soon be among the “tenants”.

The area reopens its doors to the general public on the occasion of the second edition of MIND Innovation Week, from 8th to 13th May 2023. And Rold is an active part of the schedule with the organization of some events that will focus precisely on innovation and innovative people:

📆 May 11th from 14.00 – BEEP Factory, BioEngineering Enhanced Prototyping Factory

Fabio Bianco, CSO Bio4Dreams, and Alessandro Mansutti, Head of Innovation at ROLD, will talk about BEEP Factory, acronym for BioEngineering Enhanced Prototyping Factory, a project to offer support in the development of devices and instruments in the Life Sciences field, from the design of prototypes up to production scale-up. The story of a case study related to the project will follow.

📆 May 11th from 18.30 – [Pint of Innovation] Unconventional paths

During this event, some speakers will talk about their unconventional life paths: to remind us that changing course is an act of courage and a necessary step to evolve and innovate.

📆 May 12th from 18.30 – [Pint of Innovation] Dialogues on innovation

From an introduction to the innovation methods that are applied in ROLD and in other business and academic realities, there will be a dialogue on the different nuances of innovation with some guests.

It is an opportunity not to be missed: a week dedicated to the major themes of technological innovation, sustainability, culture, science, artificial intelligence, digital health and digitalisation.
