ROLD collaborating with LIUC University in the “Innovation and Industrial Design” course

Rold‘s partnership with the world of universities is strengthened.

In the second semester of the academic year 2019/2020 we collaborated with the School of Industrial Engineering of LIUC – Università Cattaneo, as part of the “Innovation and Industrial Design” course.

Students, starting from the specific request of a company, work on product innovation at 360 °, from the idea to the technical aspects, up to the realization in the factory and the business plan. Rold asked them to study the improvement of a consumer appliance and to propose solutions that also touched on the issues of sustainability and the removal of microplastics from washing processes, obtaining very interesting results both from a technical and business point of view.
