Laura Rocchitelli, President and CEO of Rold, was elected President of the Mechatronics Group of Assolombarda, association of industrial enterprises, succeeding Diego Andreis of Fluid-o-tech.
The Assolombarda Mechatronics Group is the largest among those of the association, it counts 1,748 member companies and about 100,000 employees in the provinces of Milan, Monza, Lodi and Pavia.
Laura joined the family business in the early 90s, starting with a training period during the last phase of her university studies.
She has a degree in Business Economics from Bocconi University and her area of activity has been, right from her start, the strategic and administrative-financial one.
Today she holds the position of President and CEO in Rold, a medium-sized company in the Altomilanese area, globally recognized for the design and production of solutions, components and technologies for the domestic, professional and industrial sectors.

I also feel this responsibility strongly towards the almost 100,000 families that gravitate around this important sector of the Lombard and national economic fabric.
One of my strong points is the continuous training of people and the life-long learning.
In fact, I believe that a serious partnership between business and education world is essential for the true rebirth and growth of the country.
