Laura Rocchitelli elected Vice President for SMEs within the APPLIA Italy Presidency team

Laura Rocchitelli, President and CEO of Rold, has been elected Vice President for SMEs within the APPLIA Italy Presidency team for the two-year period 2021-2023.

Laura, born in 1967, married with three children, joined the family business in the early 90s, starting with a training period during the last phase of her university studies.

She graduated in Business Administration at Bocconi University and she focused since the beginning on strategic and administrative-financial issues.

Today she is President and CEO in Rold, a medium-sized company in the Milano area, globally recognized for the design and production of solutions, components and technologies for the domestic, professional and industrial sectors.

APPLiA Italia, associated with Confindustria, brings together over 120 companies operating in Italy in the sector of household appliances and professional equipment for catering and hospitality. The sector generates a total turnover that exceeds 16 billion, of which 10 billion euros for exports (with a positive trade balance of over 6 billion euros), and is at the forefront of research, development, production of household appliances and professional equipment with high energy efficiency.

Together with Laura, Paolo Lioy AD Whirlpool Italia & Iberia and VP Whirlpool Corporation were appointed as President, and as Vice Presidents: Vittorio Bertazzoni (Smeg) for International Affairs, Marco Brogi (De ‘Longhi) for Innovation and Digital Transformation, Enrico Hoffmann (BSH) for Communication.
