Innovation and ongoing training with Rold

Last April 8th Luca Cremona and Nicola Carrus, respectively Head of Industrial and Software Development Manager, attended a lecture of the University of Salento.

During the Internet of Things course of Prof. Luigi Patrono, proposed to master’s degree students in Computer Engineering, Cremona and Carrus talked about experiences and opportunities in ROLD to develop and market digital solutions.

Over 30 IT engineers have listened to the strategy and development scenarios on Industry4.0 and Industrial IoT contextualised in the Home, Industrial and Professional areas, specific of ROLD vision. Subsequently, Carrus highlighted the opportunities offered by Microsoft Azure and, after an introduction on IoT elements and architectures, studied the themes of rapid prototyping with IoT Central.

Strong interest of students who will find in ROLD thesis and internship opportunities proposed within the collaboration activated between the company itself and the University of Salento.
