The Advisory Board is made up of external members, who are experts in different fields and with different backgrounds. The Advisory Board convene in at least 1 meeting every year and suggest possible actions to widen the horizons and amplify Rold Academy impact.
Graduated in Labour Law and Industrial Relations at University of Rome “La Sapienza”, Sabrina De Santis is currently responsible for education and training department at Federmeccanica.
Her activities include the definition of methods for enabling the school-to-work transition, the organization of continuous training, the management of EU-funded projects.
She is involved in the collective bargain of continuous training, educational rights and apprenticeship regulation in the collective agreement of MET sector.
She is member of diverse committees, such as Education and Training Committee at Ceemet, Sectoral Social Dialogue delegation at European level, Sectoral Task Force on Industry 4.0.
Associate professor at Politecnico di Torino, teaches Management of Innovation and Product Development. Research interests and activities of Francesca Montagna cover Management of Innovation, Engineering Design and Decision Making in Product Development. They are deepened through funded and collaborations in the private and public sector. The research activities carried out in companies or public institutions have focused either on 1) the requirement analysis and design of new products (e.g. Alenia Aermacchi SpA, Abet Laminati SpA, Medallcare) or services (Comune di Torino, Intesa Sanpaolo SpA, P&G, TIM) 2) manufacturing system design (Azimut Yachts, Barilla Spa) 3) the management of product development and innovation processes (e.g. Comau, Alenia Aermacchi SpA, Thales Alenia Space, AVL, STC).
After the degree and Master of Science in economics at Bocconi University, she worked for IBM for 34 years, covering many roles in Marketing, Sales and Sales Strategy, at local and International level. She had the opportunity to change many roles in Sales, Finance, Human Resource, Strategy and she led Sales Branches and Southern Europe Business Units, before being assigned to EMEA. In London, she was appointed Executive as Director of Channel Distribution Management at EMEA Level and she joined the European Women Leadership Board to support and promote the diversity and enhancement of female talent. As Director of Digital Sales she managed a big Sales Organization with people in Italy and abroad. For many years she was a member of the Italian IBM Management Team and she also was the leader of the Diversity & Inclusion Committee. During her leadership IBM Italia jointed many networks of women’s associations, as ValoreD, STEAMiamoci of Assolombarda, 30percent club Italy.
She often held speeches in round table/events on the topic of Diversity & Inclusion for Entrepreneurs / Associations / University Students.
I’m a mechanical engineer with a Ph.D. in Machine Design and Full Professor at Politecnico di Milano. My research interests cover methods and technologies supporting design creativity and innovation, as well as design cognition and its experimental investigation.
I’m Co-Editor in Chief of the International Journal of Design Creativity and Innovation and Associate Editor of AI EDAM (Artificial Intelligence for Engineering Design, Analysis and Manufacturing) and Design Science.
I coordinated the European projects FORMAT (FORecast and Roadmapping for MAnufacturing Technologies), SPARK (Spatial Augmented Reality as a Key for co-creativity) and OIPEC (Open innovation Platform for university-Enterprise Collaboration) and (co-)authored more than 150 articles and 14 patents.
He is a senior consultant with decades of experience as health, safety and the environment manager (HSE Manager) at Aristea Legnano Srl.
He is an external manager in many companies for supporting the prevention and protection service (RSPP). The consultancy is carried out in close contact with company management on specific issues with impacts on the entire production cycle.
The profile is completed by the ministerial certificate as a consultant concerning the transport of dangerous goods by road (ADR).
Eventually, he is trainer in courses related workplace safety (Legislative Decree 81/2008 and subsequent amendments) and transport safety and compliance.
He is a journalist writing for “Corriere della Sera”. He previously collaborated with “L’Unità” and he was editor-in-chief of the weekly publication “A”. He is author of several books.
